“Our vision of arts and culture for local artists and arts organizations in Greater Flint is to develop an art center concept that provides:

    1. Brings together existing educational, art organizations and artists;
    2. Provides education in visual and performing arts;
    3. Provides an art mentor program;
    4. Downtown location/arts district which includes studio space
      for artists and places for artists to live;
    5. Holds performances, exhibits, commissions;
    6. Marketing, publicity and other support;
    7. Diversity;
    8. Festivals and workshops
    9. Educational Workshops (teachers)
    10. Substantial funding and self-generated income: producing
      artistic products by students and professional artists.”
